How to Feel GREAT Every Day, All Day!

You wake up in the morning feeling great!

Feet on the floor.  Big stretch.  You just KNOW it's going to be a wonderful day!

But then stuff happens.  And gradually that wonderful feeling starts slipping away.  Before you quite realize what has happened, you find yourself slogging through the mud of another unhappy day.  Sound familiar?

It doesn't have to be this way!

How would you like to have that "good morning" feeling all day?  A day full of happiness, high energy and freedom?  A day of positive thoughts followed by confident actions?

Is it possible?  Absolutely!  This article will show you how.

I used to think bad days were normal

But one day, my wise and mature inner-self told me, "Michelle, you were designed from birth to be HAPPY.  You may wobble a bit as you step toward happiness, but that's part of growing.  You don't have to feel depressed, hopeless, painful or wounded."

I have since learned that this is true of everyone.  No matter what you have experienced or been taught, happiness is actually a NORMAL state of being for you.  In fact, it requires effort to be UNhappy.

How do you make happiness a way of life?

Begin by realizing that many of your beliefs may go back to your pioneer ancestors or beyond.  These beliefs were developed to meet the challenges of an existence that was influenced by rigid teachings.  Most of these beliefs no longer apply to life in the 21st Century.

Think for a moment about the expectations and beliefs you have about your own life:

  • When things go wrong, do you tend to blame yourself or others?

  • Do you often feel defensive or threatened?

  • Do you tend to ignore the inner truth that tries to guide you?

  • When faced with a situation or challenge, do you ignore the lessons it provides?

  • Do you pretend to be less than the wonderful person you really are?

  • Does your happiness depend on someone or something outside of yourself?

  • Do you live your life for others rather than yourself?

  • Do you tend to resist change or growth...especially as it applies to truth?

  • Do you fail to keep 100% of your promises, both to yourself and others?

If you answered "yes" to even one of these questions, you have identified a "happiness drain".  Obviously, the more "yeses" you register, the more happiness is being drained out of your life.

Here is how to plug up your "happiness drains"

I'm not big on New Year's resolutions.  Normally, they are lightly made and lightly kept.  But, if you will resolve to make the following actions a way of life throughout the coming year, I guarantee your days will be filled with infinitely more happiness!

It won't happen overnight.  However, if you copy and print out this action list and review it every day, you will see a BIG difference in as little as one month.

I recommend that you keep this list beside your bed and make it the first thing you read in the morning and the last thing you read at night.  That's down-home simple.  But it works because with every reading, you are ingraining these actions an important part of your life.

MY HAPPINESS ACTIONS

  • I will be true to myself by trusting, listening, and obeying my inner guidance.

  • I will take good care of myself physically, emotionally, spiritually, and mentally.

  • I will honor and respect myself.

  • I will listen to the lessons of life and accept them.

  • I will create a Win Chart for myself to help set myself up for winning.

  • I will simplify everything.

  • I will stay in motion and encourage change and growth.

  • I will do what I enjoy and what makes me happy above all else.

  • I will stop looking for reasons why I am not deeply fulfilledand energized by my life.

  • I will let go of worries and fears.

  • I will love, admire, respect, appreciate and give generously to myself all that I must have to be completely harmonious.

  • I will make happiness my top priority and keep it there.

  • I will focus on (the many) things I like about myself and be my biggest fan.

  • I will pull energy away from work and others and direct it back to myself.

Remember, you DESERVE to be happy!

It is a normal way of life for you and easily within your grasp when you practice the above actions.

If the actions are not perfect some days, accept and learn from it.  Above all, don't blame yourself.  Realize you are taking growth steps and they don't always turn out to be perfect steps.

By being consistent you will improve until you have released the happiness and true power that is within you.  And then, my friend, you will be living the exquisite life you deserve!
